"Making a Warmer World to Live In Online Campaign" is launched, in cooperation with the Joong-Ang Ilbo.

"Beautiful Concert 2002."

"Beautiful 1% Sharing Campaign" is launched, in association with the KBS Radio "We Are a Family" team.

May

Park Kyung-Lim and Park Soo-Hong's "ParkGoTae Project" (a recording by two comedians, sold along the highways of Korea). The 150 million won that is raised is used to help 12 children with leukemia.

"Your Sunshine Fund" established with a 100 million won donation from Chung Kang Cultural Foundation Chief Director Jung Hee-Kyung.

¡§ "Oh, Pilseung Korea Fund" (Oh, Victory to Korea!) is built to support young people's soccer development, aided by Yun Do-Hyun Band and Choi Su-Jong

¡§ "Work by Day, Study by Night Fund" is established to support young people preparing for qualification exams. This fund was started by Jeffrey Johns of AMCHAM (The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea).

"Lamp Light Fund" is opened to support the bereaved children of city cleaning workers and firemen. Started by Lee Myung-Bak (Current Mayor of Seoul).

"The First SOS Online Campaign for Relief" held to aid flood victims.

November

"GIVING KOREA 2002," the second international symposium on giving culture, is held.

December

Published Is Fundraising an Adventure? the second volume in The Foundation's philanthropic publishing series. (The original title was The Grass Roots Fundraising Book: How to Raise Money in Your Community, by Joan Flanagan).
